Emma Quinn is an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy award-winning journalist whose passion for storytelling and connecting with the local community has taken her all over the United States, currently in Upstate New York at CBS6 Albany.
Emma's experience in the Capital Region has consisted of covering state politics, intense breaking news situations, the migrant crisis, COVID-19 pandemic, and contributed to a weekly segment on skilled trades industries.
Prior to CBS 6, she reported and anchored at the dual station KBJR6/CBS3 in Duluth, MN. That experience included coverage during the height of COVID-19, the civil unrest following the death of George Floyd, presidential and state elections, and having been named the education beat reporter.
As a Multimedia Journalist, Emma shoots, edits, and write stories under intense deadlines for several nightly and weekend shows. She's also worked in a team setting with photographers. Emma's reporting skills have instilled the ability to be adaptable and sharp processing skills in any situation.
